The Historic Festival, the Art Sale, and a Long Weekend

We're off this week, so no Know Your Corner. Just the events: five days at Lime Rock, the Cornwall art sale, and two quartets at Music Mountain.

We're on vacation this week. No Know Your Corner article, just the calendar, and the calendar is stacked. Lime Rock runs five straight days of Historic Festival, opening Thursday when the vintage cars leave the track at 5:00 sharp and drive seventeen miles through Lakeville and Salisbury to a street fair in Falls Village. Racing Friday, Saturday and Monday. A thousand cars parked around the circuit on Sunday. The Cornwall Library opens its art sale Friday night and keeps it going through Labor Day. Music Mountain plays two quartets in two days. Four farmers markets before noon on Saturday.

Hope everyone has a great end of summer.
