Hunt for Books

The Friends of the David M. Hunt Library invites readers, families, and bookworms and booklovers of all ages to HUNT FOR BOOKS on Saturday October 24 from 10AM to 1PM. Shelves and tables, inside and outside the library, will overflow with thousands of new and gently used books at low prices. Whether searching for a favorite author, a favorite hobby, a gift for a friend, or inventory for a bookseller, this sale promises something for everyone. In addition to books outside the library, there will be a section downstairs with thousands of books that can be bought for $5 a bag and newer and current books upstairs for a fraction of their original prices. HUNT FOR BOOKS will coincide with APPLES ‘N’ THINGS, a fall festival featuring baked goods and handmade craft items at the Falls Village Congregational Church, across the street from the library.
